You don’t have to have young children to find LMNO Peas a cute book. Be honest, when you sing the alphabet lmnop just seem to merge together. The fun begins with the dedication: ‘For pea-ple everywhere -young and old, large and small, green and round’. The peas narrate the alphabet, since they are the alphabet peas. Each letter the peas perform actions and jobs associated with that letter. There are many ABC books, but I enjoyed this book because the peas really had personality and there were new jobs that young children can learn to spark more conversations. For example, I doubt many young children know about acrobats, investigators, poets, parachutists, volunteers, or zoologists. The final page in big capital letters the peas ask the reader: ‘Who are you?’ The illustrations are vibrant and the peas’ actions will surely make you smile.

This does look like it would be an cute book for the early readers. My grandchildren love illustrations to talk about, while going through their little books.
