About

Thanks for checking out my awesome blog! (Okay, I’ll let you be the judge.) Let me tell you a little about myself and blog.

I’m an elementary teacher who loves to promote reading. It’s difficult not to read another chapter when the class begs you not to stop. I laugh and cry along with them while reading.

I’m born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. It’s a more ‘gritty’ city with heart about 40 miles south of Seattle. I like to promote all things I’m proud about living in the Pacific Northwest.

Since I started my blog three years ago, it has focused upon the ‘more’ than just children’s books. I still write adult and children’s book reviews, but I expanded the ‘more’ aspect. I post quotations, personal photos, promote reading, travel experiences, book information, writing, and anything else that makes me happy.

Hopefully, you think this is all pretty awesome. If not, thanks for checking it out. Now pull up a chair and let’s chat. What book do you recommend? Where should I travel to next? (book or real location) What would be a great day?

My answers:

  1. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
  2. Hogwarts!
  3. Blue sky, wearing a dress while hula hooping, then curled up reading while eating a bowl of cherries.

(If I can just have one of the few, it’s a great day!)

Thanks for visiting!

I’m glad you like the new appearance. Basically, I took what I liked from others and learned how to do more things with widgets. Thanks :-)

Thanks for following me; I’m following you back. I like your attitude about books, and I greatly miss the Pacific NW (lived there for about six years).
