In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.

A very lovely photo…I miss the beach.
to meet you!
Thanks for the chat and I am
Thanks, I was there with family but I’m upset with myself because I hardly took any photos on that trip. The beach sounds wonderful instead of cold & winter weather here. Thanks for your comment.
I absolutely adore this – so, so true – Thank you for sharing

Sometimes it’s difficult for me to just focus on the book I’m reading at the moment. I want to rush to my next book. However, the best books are those that I remember when I took my time. Thanks for your comment.
Beautiful quote Caroline!
Thanks, I’m going to try to follow that quote this year and not worry about which book to read next. Thanks for stopping by.
So right. We may just read a few but what matters is that it touched our hearts and change what we think and feel. I’m not much of a book person but I read to my son his story books and sometimes, it gives a moral lesson that even an adult cal learn from. make me feel humble and appreciative of things. Happy New year.
I absolutely agree. That’s why I think many books shouldn’t be labeled as a ‘children’s book’, since they can be enjoyed by all ages and learn something. That’s wonderful that you read with your son! He’s starting a love that hopefully stays through his life. Thanks for your comment.
